| “Taking care of the earth is what we are called to do. We were called to be partners in being good stewards and caring for all creatures, great and small. When you look at how damaging our practices have been over the years to God's creation, mountaintop removal and black lung, we realized that there has got to be a better way. It's fascinating to think that we have the resources there if we take the initiative to do our research. I just keep thinking about how so many countries around the world are using clean energy and have surpluses and what a benefit it would be to our communities.” |
